    Papá Roncón

    Singer, musician and composer of Afro-Ecuadorian music. His musical roots came from the west Africa with the slaves that spaniards brought during the Conquista to work in Ecuador's mines.
    Juan García Salazar in his book presents part of his life in the Esmeraldas region, which is the north-west part of Ecuador.
